Things to do when you are Sad

In this post we will talk about 10 tings that one should do when angry. Things that may lift your mood or make you feel a lot better. So, without any further ado lets get started.

1. Solitude



Solitude means the state or situation of being alone or a lonely or uninhabited place. But here, what I mean is to stay alone for a bit to calm yourself or most importantly to avoid saying something that you may regret. You can calm yourself better when you are alone and quiet. Sometime all you need is some space alone.

2. Get all Your Emotions Out



Whenever you feel sad its best to get whatever emotion you have inside you to get it out as the worst thing to do in such situation is to contain yourself from fully expressing yourself. It may be because you do not want to hurt your listener or you do not want to burden your listener or simply you do not trust your lister enough to share every thought. When I say get all your emotions out the main question arrises is How? or Who can be our listener? Well to answer these question the best listener could be a third party usually a friend which has absolutely nothing to do with the you and your source of sadness. 
Many people do not like to share their full thoughts to any other person (introverts or simply trust issues) for these kind of people the best way to get all your thought all out is by writing whatever you feel on a page or on a dairy or my most recommended on a dairy app with lock on a phone or any other device. 
It always help to calm yourself and have some clarity of thoughts with a proper closer.

3. Distract Yourself



After getting your emotions on the right track and you still feel a bit of gloomy then you should simply just need to distract yourself for the time being. Do something that makes you happy like read a book or play some games or listen to some music or watch some series or a movie. Whatever you do, do anything or everything that makes you laugh or a smile is enough.

4. Go to Sleep



If after doing everything you still feel a bit low then this is the last resort, just go and have a nice shower with all your favourite soaps, bathing gels, shampoos, conditioner etc. and then simply go to sleep. After the sleep whenever you wake up you will feel refreshed and happy.
